Galápagos

The Galápagos Islands cannot be described, and any photograph cannot do them justice — they need to be experienced first hand and in depth.

The wildlife on these islands as well as in the water is unique: some species only exist on one island, but not others. It is no surprise that Charles Darwin got the foundation of his theory of evolution right here on these islands.

Some species found on Galápagos do exist in other places as well, yet they still evolved differently here in Galápagos to adapt to the unique ecosystem around these islands over centuries.

Besides unique wildlife, the islands also feature amazing fauna. Rugged, volcanic landscapes with cactus trees native only to particular islands.
