Namibia is known for the Namib Desert with its red sand dunes, which are millions of years old. Seeing it from the ground is amazing, seeing it from the air is when you grasp its vastness.
There is also an abundance of wildlife in Namibia – even outside Etosha National Park: giraffes in the Kalahari desert; seals and flamingos along the coast. The coast though is treacherous as is evident by shipwrecks.
